A4 IMPACT

A4 Community Care Services Inc has been providing invaluable support to families in need since October 2006. For the past 17 years, we have been the primary provider of food relief to over 10,080 families every year across the Brisbane Logan Ipswich region. With each passing year, we have observed a growing demand for our services in the community, inspiring us to constantly expand and enhance our care offerings to better serve those in need.

Here at A4 Community Care Services, we offer fully-loaded food parcels that typically consist of 2 to 3 trolley loads of fresh produce for only $40. These parcels are packed with an average value of $300-$400 worth of goods, including a variety of fruit, vegetables, snacks, canned food, dry goods, meat, dairy, and bread. In addition to providing these generous food parcels, we have also initiated a community garden to grow fresh fruits and vegetables to distribute to our members. We are committed to ensuring that our community has access to wholesome, nutritious food at an affordable price.

The year 2020 presented unprecedented challenges on both physical and organizational fronts. The pandemic brought about massive unemployment, causing a lack of food security that threatened the livelihoods of many families. However, our dedicated workers and generous donors worked tirelessly to keep our community afloat during these difficult times. Thanks to their unwavering support, we were able to provide essential aid and sustain the well-being of countless families, ensuring that they had access to the necessary resources to survive.

At A4 Community Care Services, we understand that not all members of our community are able to make it to our distribution center, despite being in need of our assistance. That's why we operate on a weekly and monthly basis, delivering to local and regional individuals and community groups. Our commitment to serving those in need extends beyond distance, which is why we go the extra mile by bringing our services to those in more remote locations, such as Yamba or Millmerran.
